The 8 days Tibet overland tour is the amalgamation of all these mystical features of Tibet. Starting from Kathmandu, it extends through the magical features of Nyalam, Lhatse, Xigatse, and Lhasa. Join our trip; we bring you to some of the magical and spiritual destinations of this overland.
Departure at 05.30 hrs from your hotel. Approximately 4 hours to Kodari (China/Nepal boarder), Half an hour drive to Zhangmu, where after completion of immigration formalities (if time permits) We drive further to Neylam following Bhote Koshi river in a deep valley with some overflowing waterfalls. Overnight in guesthouse.

Drive through Neylam pass (3800m) with the view of Jugal Himal. A continued drive via Lablungla Pass (5,050) has some of the outstanding view of Mt. Xixapangma (8,027m- highest in Tibet & 14th highest in the world), Mt. Makalu (8,464m), Mt.Lhotse (8,516), Mt. Cho Oyut (8,201m) and Mt. Everest (8,848m). Overnight at Guesthouse.

Drive to Xigatse, the place of the famous Tashilhunba monastery and the seat of Panchen Lama. Overnight at Hotel.

After visiting Tashilhunba in the morning including the Bazaar of Xigatse. Drive to Gyantse, which is 02 hrs. Gyantse is small busting town steeped in history. It lies 264 kms Southwest of Lhasa, on the north bank of Nyang Chu river. In the 15th century it served as the capital of a small Kingdom. Visit Kumbum Chorten which was built around 1400 AD. It later became the main center for trade with British India. Stay in Hotel/guest house.

Drive takes you to Lhasa crossing the Karo La Pass (5010m) and Kampala Pass (4794m). The Karo La climbs between two lofty mountains, Nozing Khang Sa (7223m) and Ralung (6236m). While driving, you will see the Yamdrok Tso (Turquoise Lake) which takes approx. 1 hour to cross around. After passing Kamba La, Lhasa valley is seen to the north. You will also cross the Brahmaputra River. On arriving Lhasa check into your hotel. The accompanied guide will reconfirm your onward airlines ticket, make sure of it. Overnight will be in a guesthouse using twin-sharing room. We always try our best to provide centrally located guesthouse or hotel during your stay in Lhasa.

Today you will be engrossed with sightseeing and excursions of the Potala Palace, and Drepung monastery. Drepung monastery is biggest monastery of Tibet. Visit around the city and enjoy the amazing lifestyle of local people.

This excursion day is for the famous Norbhu Linka Palace, the Jokhang temple, and surrounding Barkhor market. Barkhor Street is very famous for Tibetan handicrafts and antiques.

After early morning breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to fly Kathmandu. In clear weather during the fly time you will see aerial views of gigantic Himalaya. We will pick up you at Kathmandu airport, transfer to the selected hotel and celebrate the leisure time.
