The village of Bungmati and Khokana, a complex of cultural amalgamation is just 10 Kilometers from Kathmandu. These small Newari villages in the Lalitpur district of Nepal dates back to the 6th century but the prominent artifacts are of since the medieval period of Nepal. Though these villages are close to Nepal's capital: Kathmandu, they are least influenced by modernity and so bears a huge capability of accepting cultural tourists.
