Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu arrival, transfer to hotel, welcome dinner
Once you arrive at Kathmandu airport, our representative will greet & meet you at the arrival gate. With the display board of Trekking Mart, s/he will be waiting for you there. Then transfer to the selected hotel. In the evening you enjoy welcome dinner of authentic Nepali cuisine with fantastic cultural dance presentation. Meal: Dinner.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing tour: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhu, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath
Today we make a detail exploration of cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu. A professional city guide will guide us to fulfill our cultural need. Swayambhunath- a ‘self-existent Buddha’, Kathmandu Durbar Square- a past King’s palace with living goddess power, Boudhanath- one of the largest Stupas in the world and Pashupatinath- a place of sacred Lingam (phallic symbol of Lord Shiva) are our today’s attraction. Overnight at the hotel. Meal: breakfast.

Day 03: Fly to Bhadrapur, Jhapa & Drive to Ilam
We catch the morning flight to Bhadrapur. Bhadrapur is the easternmost city of Nepal located in Jhapa district. It is about 700 km west of Kathmandu and takes about 45 minutes by flight. From Bhadrapur, we head towards Ilam, which is 75km north of Bhadrapur and is of 3 hrs drive. This hilltop station is famous for its green hills, fertile lands, and the cool temperate climate. So Ilam is also known as Queen of hills. Overnight at this queen land. Meal: Breakfast.

Day 04: Full day tour - Ilam & Kanyam Tea Gardens
We design today’s trip for Ilam and Kanya. We start our sightseeing trip with the morning glorious sunrise view. The excellent relief features around the site are the fine gifts of nature. The entire area is famous for a beautiful tea garden covering more than 100 years of plantation trend. Especially Kanyam and Fikkal are fascinating spots because of having large tea estates. It has also got a tea factory to prepare various tea products. Besides these, we also visit local villages, Ilam Bazaar, and Maipokhari to evaluate local lifestyle and culture. Overnight at Ilam. Meal: Breakfast.

Day 05: Drive back to Bhadrapur, Fly back to Kathmandu
This day we return back to Bhadrapur by the drive. The roadway runs from the queen hills to the plain Terai. On arrival in Bhadrapur, we fly back to Kathmandu. In the alternative, you may visit Darjeeling of India which is right across the border. The border is 15 km east of Bhadrapur. Darjeeling is one of the finest hill stations in the world. Night stay in Kathmandu. Meal: Breakfast.

Day 06: Sightseeing Tour: Patan & Bhaktapur
Patan and Bhaktapur are the two most ancient cultural cities of Kathmandu valley. The ancient ruler’s history bearing durbar squares of both the cities are listed in UNESCO world heritage site. Patan Durbar square is the marvel of Newar architecture and thus also known as a city of fine arts. Bhaktapur is the city of Devotees. Both the cities have the perfect distinctive features of medieval arts, architectures, culture and lifestyle of the peoples of past and present. Overnight at the hotel. Meal: Breakfast.

Day 07: Departure Transfer
At about 3 hours prior to your flight time, we transfer you to the airport to fly your onward destination. Trekking Mart family wishes your best time ahead. Meal: Breakfast.
